Learn them one case at a time, watch each one turn, then drill it with the timer.

The CFOP path

New to CFOP? Learn 2-look OLL and 2-look PLL first. Those 16 algorithms solve every last layer.

  1. Step 1CrossFour white edges around the white centre. Practise planning it.
  2. Step 2F2LPair each corner with its edge and put the pair in its slot. 41 cases, shown for the front-right slot.
  3. Step 3Start here2-look OLLMake the top yellow in two steps: first the edges, then the corners. 10 algorithms.
  4. Step 42-look PLLSolve the last layer in two steps: first the corners, then the edges. 6 algorithms.
  5. Step 5Full OLLMake the whole top yellow in one algorithm.
  6. Step 6Full PLLMove the last-layer pieces to their places in one algorithm. The top is already yellow.
