CubeNation started in August 2016 to give Bangladesh's cubers a proper place to buy puzzles. Today we sell speed cubes, collector puzzles, accessories, lubes and maintenance tools, and deliver them across the country.
Our story
It started in August 2016 with one frustrated cuber. He wanted a shop that stocked the cubes serious cubers need, at prices that made sense.
We began with almost no money, taking pre-orders from customers. The first attempt failed. We got the shipping and customs calculation wrong and lost 50k. We nearly gave up.
Then some funding came in. We learned the import rules properly, found suppliers in China, built a website, printed visiting cards and bought packing materials. Everything was ready except one thing.
“It needs a name.”
We searched for days and found nothing that fit. Then, on 27 August 2016, our cuber friend Sreshtho said one word: “CubeNation”. The rest is history.
What we believe
Most shops sell whatever the catalogue says. CubeNation is run by speedcubers who compete in WCA events and solve on the cubes we sell.
Ask us which cube, which lube or which tension, and the answer comes from someone who has used it.
A copy looks the same in a photo and feels nothing alike in the hand. That's why we import directly from the brands that make the puzzles.
Every puzzle here is original. If one arrives damaged or wrong, tell us within 7 days and we'll replace it.
CubeNation started in August 2016, when a frustrated cuber in Dhaka couldn't find quality puzzles at fair prices.
That frustration became CubeNation. Fair prices are still the promise we hold ourselves to.

Brand Ambassador
Sakib Ibn Rashid Rhivu, also known on-air as Rhivu Rashid, is the host of Labrador Morning at Canada's public broadcaster CBC/Radio-Canada. He is CubeNation's Brand Ambassador.
Rhivu started speedcubing in 2013 and is a former Bangladesh national champion and national record holder for the 3×3 (single 7.18 s, average 8.57 s). He dominated Bangladeshi speedcubing from 2013 to 2016.
Managing Partner
Farhan runs the business and is the final escalation for any order problem.
He is a perfectionist: ask him for something and he'll come back with something better than you pictured. Outside sales and marketing, he designs the site's graphics.
He graduated from IBA, Jahangirnagar University, and works as a Product Manager at Bevy Commerce Inc.
Co-Founder
Shahadat co-founded CubeNation and leads marketing. He runs our stalls at events and photographs the competitions we attend or sponsor.
He graduated in CSE from Dhaka International University and works as a Software Engineer at Brain Station 23. He has travelled to more than 50 of Bangladesh's districts, so ask him for travel tips.
Off the clock he plays FIFA and Bionic Commando: Rearmed.
Head of Overseas
Farabi manages our international business and makes sure that we don't miss any international wholesale orders. He closely builds our relationship with sellers so that we find the best deals possible.
Farabi started cubing back in 2014, being inspired by Sakib Ibn Rashid Rhivu. Now he is one of the Top Speedcubers in the country. He is an all-rounder who solves almost all of the WCA puzzles and Ranks in Top 3 nationwide.
He graduated from the University of Arizona, USA and now works as a Software Engineer at ServiceNow.
Customer Success Officer
Sizanul leads customer success. If you message us about an order, there's a good chance he's the one who helps.
He started cubing in 2016, solves with CFOP and averages under 40 seconds.
He studies BBA at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology.
Customer Experience Officer
Sourov handles customer experience, from your first question to after delivery.
He started cubing in 2014, solves with CFOP and averages under 25 seconds.
He studies MBA at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology.
Consultant
Shifa Tun Noor is a consultant for the team. Formerly, she managed our customer experience team.
Shifa is known for her WCA registrations, where she became famous for not attending after paying. After graduating from IBA, Jahangirnagar University, she now works as a Senior Executive at MGH Group.
She solves with CFOP and averages under 20 seconds. She no longer competes but still works for the community.
Consultant
Munem consults for the team. He hand‑crafted cubes, inserting magnets with precise placement, a process we called “Munemization.” When a product’s short description includes that term, you can be sure it’s the best version of the cube.
He began cubing in 2015, uses the CFOP method, graduated from the CSE department at North South University, and co‑founded LunaraSync.
Consultant
Afi Noor is a consultant for the team currently. Formerly, he managed web development and customer behavior analysis.
Afi is known for hosting the cube adda, where he became famous for arriving late. After graduating from IBA, University of Dhaka, he now works as an Analytics Engineer at Intelligent Machines Limited.
He solves with CFOP and averages under 20 seconds. He no longer competes but still works for the community.
Warehouse Associate
Mr. TunTun oversees our warehouse. He practically learned this craft at an early age from his predecessor, Mr. Moni.
He solves the cube with CFOP, CAT-F2L-OLL PLL. He is sub-pawty on 3x3.
