Seven moons, one mothership. Leslie Le's 2017 design embeds seven independently turning spherical 2x2s into a two-layer flying-disc shell - spin each satellite on its own axis, then rotate the entire disc to reposition them around the hull.
VeryPuzzle half-jokes about it being three-and-a-half-dimensional; the extra freedom those seven spheres impose is entirely real. Display case included; handle gently, as the mechanism earns its complexity honestly.
