About this cube
The top Aolong V5 AI is a Bluetooth smart cube with the hardware of the Aolong V5 8M Ball Core MagLev underneath: 88 magnets including an 8-magnet ball core, springless MagLev with eight elasticity levels, and eight tension levels. It pairs with MoYu's WCU Cube app (iOS 12+ or Android 10+) for live turn tracking, solve timing and analysis, coaching and online battles.
It is the only V5 AI with a gyroscope in the core, so the app follows how the cube moves in your hands as well as each turn and can replay your solve in 3D. The trade-off is battery: about 30 hours per charge, around 2 hours to refill in the smart charging case over USB-C. Magic-coated stickerless shell, 55.5 mm and about 77 g.
