The EStar SQ1 UV in the Black Top edition is a maglev Square-1 with a full UV coating, with a black top layer against bright side colours for a sharp, high-contrast look. It is built for Square-1 solvers who have outgrown a budget puzzle and want a flagship they can set up exactly the way they like.

Underneath, it is one of the most adjustable Square-1s around. The upper and lower layers each have their own numbered tension settings, and axis distance can be tuned in fine, stepless increments. Magnets on two tracks and two layers, plus inner and outer magnetic rings, keep the layers aligned, and a 15° assisted recentring pulls the slice back into place after each turn.
